Nurture Marple

“We believe early childhood education should activate
the child’s own natural desire to learn.”

About Nurture

Nurture is an under 5s Early Learning and Day-Care Centre, situated on Station Road in the centre of Marple. We cater for children from 3 months to 4 years and are open 7:30 til 6:30, five days a week, 50 weeks of the year.

We believe that the first 5 years of a child’s life is the most important. The relationships, skills, knowledge and concepts they develop during this time are the building blocks which help them develop their individual personalities and interests. It also supports them growing to become well rounded citizens.

Children develop very quickly in these formative years and we endeavour to do all we can to help your child have the very best possible start in life. Every child is unique and embracing this individuality is a crucial part in successful Early Years Education. Here at Nurture, we strive to support each child’s learning journey, to help foster their unique personalities, talents and abilities.

Across the nursery we have a range of qualified and experienced practitioners, ranging from level 2 through to degree level. We are also dedicated to taking on apprentices to train them in the Nurture philosophy to ensure continuity for the future.

All practitioners hold full paediatric first aid training which is renewed every 3 years and attend in house and external training to keep up to date with current practice, changes and new developments within the childcare sector.

Having had direct teaching and management of early education for many years, with a specialism in children with additional needs, we are confident we have the experience, knowledge and skills to provide a stimulating environment, supportive staff and accurate assessment and planning to deliver a high quality curriculum to all ages and abilities, which is bespoke to each child’s individual needs.

Exceptional Nursery with personable, trustworthy and caring nurturers. My 3 year old daughter has been going since 10 months old and i have now enrolled my 8-month-old son. Incredibly flexible every time we have needed support, my children adore their nurturers as if they are part of our family and we could not ask for any more thank you.

Our daughter, Anwen has been going to Nurture for over three months now and she’s so happy and settled there. The staff are brilliant, as are the activities they do, and the selection of food the children eat is excellent.

Highly recommended.
